X also announced on Tuesday it will allow political advertisements on the website for the first time since 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Musk acquired the platform in October 2022 and has said he has plans for it to become his \u201ceverything app.\u201d X CEO Linda Yaccarino has also talked about the expansion of the platform\u2019s services to \u201caudio, video, messaging, payments\/banking.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTwitter made one massive impression and changed the way we communicate,\u201d Yaccarino said in a thread on X last month. \u201cNow, X will go further, transforming the global town square.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elon Musk on Thursday said that video and audio calls are coming to his X social media platform.
