No fewer than 15 top Northern Politicians are lobbying the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi to be his running mate in the 2023 Presidential Election. This is even as four foreign Presidents and two former Nigerians Presidents have reached out to Peter Obi after he emerged as the presidential candidate of Labour party.
These were made known by Comrade Abayomi Oluwafemi, Spokesman of the Labour party, ain an exclusive interview with News.band Television. yesterday.
In the interview conducted via zoom, Comrade Oluwafemi said 15 distinguished northerners are angling to be running mate to Peter Obi while four foreign presidents have called Peter Obi since picking LP nomination , two former Nigeria presidents also called congratulate him.
