Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, is allocating N10 billion for the reconstruction and repair of his official residence in Abuja.
This amount is part of the N21 billion allocated to his office in the 2024 budget estimates presented to the National Assembly.
The overall budget presented by President Tinubu is N27.50 trillion for the 2024 Appropriation Bill before the Senate and House of Representatives joint session last Wednesday.
Gbajabiamila’s proposed expenditures include N104 million for computers and printers, N579 million for local travel and transport for international training, N103 million for miscellaneous items, N10.1 billion for computer software purchase, and N290 million for the purchase of vehicles.
The budget has passed the second reading with minor changes made by the Senate and House of Representatives.
