Terror bandits have again attacked Sabon Gero community in millennium city, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing two officials of the Joint Task Force (JTF) and abducting many others including a pharmacist and his wife.

Our correspondent however gathered that six of the earlier abducted victims were able to escape from the bandits.

According to an eyewitness who did not want to be mentioned, the incident occured around 1am on Wednesday.

“Some of us were still doing some chores when we started hearing gunshots. The bandits broke into people’s houses and took them away, they also took away other residents while they were trying to flee,” she said.

Another source said, “I learnt two JTF members were killed in the attack while trying to stop the bandits from kidnapping some residents.”

When contacted, the police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige said he would call back but he had yet to so at the time of filing this report.
