Former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi has swept 81.4 per cent of all votes in a poll conducted online, according to News Band reports.

The poll was conducted by none other than the spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, on Twitter.

Dr. Baba-Ahmed, on his Twitter handle @baba_hakeem, posed a simple question “If Presidential elections are held next week, who will you vote for?” and invited interested persons to vote.

The poll had four contenders:

  1. All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,

2. New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso,

Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Onwubuasi Obi

4. Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

During the online poll, which started at 11:09 PM on July 19, 2022, 49,389 votes were cast.

In the final results of the poll, Asiwaju Tinubu got 8.3 per cent of all votes, Senator Kwankwaso got 3.3 per cent, Alhaji Abubakar got 7 per cent, while Peter Obi amassed a whopping 81.4 per cent of all votes cast!

An observer who monitored the poll noted that Peter Obi is not just contesting the presidential election but is leading a revolution ahead of the 2023 general election.
