The directorate of Youth Affairs of Obi/Datti presidential campaign council (PCC) has appointed zonal and state coordinators of the Labour Party ahead of the February polls.
A press statement on Monday signed by Comrade Isah Abubakar, Director of Youths Affairs Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, noted that it is with great pleasure that the Directorate of Youth Affairs of the OBI-DATTI Presidential Campaign Council wishes to announce to the general public the appointment of zonal and state coordinators for the activities of the Directorate.
The statement reads, “This appointment is to further consolidate the momentum and goodwill that the OBI-DATTI campaign has been massively enjoying from the Nigerian People so far. I will also want to use this opportunity to salute the courage, tenacity, and commitment of the Nigerian Youths to the mission of salvaging what is left of our country.
“It is worthy of note that the youths have been the engine that has driven the OBI-DATTI train to this point. Therefore, it is expedient for us to do more because, in this mission of saving our nation, we cannot afford to be tired, especially at this critical time of our struggle. We must re-energize our commitment to a better Nigeria by channeling our frustrations to electing the best hands to take over the affairs of this great nation come 25th February 2023, the statement reads.
According to the statement, the appointees include, “North East, Hassan Turaki as zonal coordinator, Mr. Abdulazeez Muhammad Gelengu, for Gombe State, Sabiu Titima, for Borno State, Anthony H Yerima, for Adamawa, Anas Hamza, for Bauchi State.
Others are, Mr. Grigwu Amos as zonal coordinator, North Central, Hon. Baba Alhaji, Niger State, John Umar Kyune, Nasarawa, Ogbu David for Benue State, Christopher Ukwenya for Kogi State, Aliyu Abubakar Jibrin for Kwara and David Dazi for Plateau State.
Mr. Sunday Laurence is the zonal coordinator, South-South region, with Mr. Amabu Ledogo, as Rivers State coordinator, Mr. Mendy Ezekiel, for Akwa-Ibom, Mr. Stanley Obara for Delta, Mr. Ayibatoinpre N Ofoin, Bayelsa, Salami David, Edo and Favor Bassey for Cross Rivers States.
In the South-East, Mr. Ken Kennett Okeke is the zonal coordinator, while the state coordinators are, Mr. Nwaneli Henry Chinedu for Anambra, Barr. Nomeh Kenechukwu Michael for Ebonyi, Comr John Paul Egbo for Enugu, and Comr Boniface Chinaemerem Emesowum for Imo.
