The Labour Party Gubernatorial Candidate, Mr Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has called on Lagosians to speak out on the alleged intimidation of voters during the recently concluded Gubernatorial election in the state.

Gbadebo, who spoke to journalists on Wednesday in Lagos, said not speaking up at the ‘agberocracy’ of the election automatically connotes acceptance and such should be rebuffed.

The Candidate said there were thugs who unleashed violence on the people of Lagos and thereafter subjected them to some form of oppression.

He said Lagos should be founded on love rather than the ‘diabolical suppression’ that emanated from some people.

“I call on Lagosians to speak out. Silence in this regard is acceptance and support.

“We saw APC’s invasion of Lagos and Agberocacy and this will affect us all.

“We saw thugs that carried out all sorts of violence against the people of Lagos.

“A society like Lagos should be founded on love. We desire a Lagos that will not be diabolically suppressed by evil people,” he said.

Meanwhile, Rhodes-Vivour launched GRV cares website, calling on those who were injured during the elections to lodge a complaint there so their bills can be sorted.

He said the unsolicited support the party received from the people of Lagos was overwhelming; Hence, the need to provide a succour to them. (Nigerian Tribune)
