One of the aides of Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has suddenly thrown in the towel.

News Express learnt that the aide, Mr Richard Nwora Madiebo, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Anambra State Internal Revenue Service (AIRS), shared the news with staff of the agency at Revenue House, Agu Awka, earlier today, Thursday, June 1, 2023.

A source at the meeting said the chairman after announcing his resignation disclosed that he had already informed Governor Soludo, though he failed to explain or give reason for leaving the position.

Speculations have it that one of the possible reasons for his resignation include a clash of responsibilities with Dr. Christian Madubuko, a former Commissioner under Governor Willie Obiano who was appointed an Executive Director of AIRS by Governor Soludo months ago.
