Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has condoled with the family of veteran Nollywood actress Cynthia Okereke who died on Tuesday night.

Mrs. Okereke sad news was disclosed by her fellow colleague in the entertainment industry, Joseph Okechukwu.

However, Obi via his verified twitter account on Friday, described her as an admirably who played her different movie roles to the pleasure of many.

The former Anambra State Governor wrote:

The news of the death of Cynthia Okereke, a veteran Nollywood actress, is a very sad one. She was a very popular face in Nigerian movies for decades, and she admirably played her different movie roles to the pleasure of many.

I condole with her family and friends who are most affected by her death, and also the Actors Guild of Nigeria, over her irreplaceable loss. May God who called her home at this time grant her eternal rest. -PO
