Following the fear that he may be booted out of office by the court, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has allegedly ordered the Department of State Security Services (DSS) and Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC), to crack down on judges of election petition tribunal, lawyers to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi and also, legal representative to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

David Hundeyin, an independent investigative journalist who has been a thorn on the flesh of President Bola Tinubu and his party, APC made the disturbing revelation through his official Twitter handle.

He also attached a screenshot of his conversation with the source that gave the information.

“The president just rose from a meeting with Gov. Uzodinma, DG SSS, chairman ICPC and instructed to go after tribunal Judges and including the lawyers of Atiku and Peter Obi. Please, I heard this from a reliable source”, the source said.

According to him, the source has never told him anything untrue before. “I hope this will be the first time”, David Hundeyin added.

Meanwhile, this round of revelation is coming after the publisher of Point-Blank News, Mr Jackson Ude, described the All-Progressives Congress (APC) as a den and safe heaven for criminals.

Ude who is a US based investigative journalist has been having a running battle with the APC after he revealed a secret phone conversation that took place between President Bola Tinubu, Chief Justice of the federation, Olukayode Ariwoola, two other Justices of the Supreme Court and the Director General of the Department of State Services, Mr Bichi.

In the said conversation, Tinubu was allegedly asking the justices their opinion and help over the 2023 presidential election matter pending at the election petition tribunal.

Though, APC had denied the allegations in a statement Thursday.
