The Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) holden at the Court of Appeal in Abuja has fixed tomorrow, August 1, 2023, for the adoption of the Final Written Address presented by the Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi.

PEPC announced the Notice of Hearing in a letter dated 28th July 2023 and addressed for service on the petitioner, Mr. Obi, throught his counsel, Dr. Livy Uzoukwu.

In the Notice of Hearing on petition no: CA/PEPC/03/2023 entitled “Adoption of Final Written Address”, PEPC wrote:

“Take notice the above election petition will be heard at 2:00PM on Tuesday the 1st of August 2023 and on such other days as the Court of Appeal may determine.”

Recall that Peter Ob had challenged the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the February 25, 2023, presidential election.
