A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Maitama, Abuja has ordered the remand of former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele in Kuje correctional facility pending ruling on his bail application.

The presiding judge, Justice Hamza Muazu, gave the order on Friday and adjourned the ruling on the bail application filed by the former CBN boss.

The former bank chief will remain in prison custody until November 22, when the court will deliver a ruling on his bail motion.
