The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi, party National Chairman, Julius Abure and other prominent political and traditional rulers was in attendance of the public presentation of “Brutally Frank,” an autobiography of elder statesman Chief Edwin Clark, at the Abuja International Conference Centre.

Peter Obi via his verified X handle said that, given Chief Clark’s long history of service to the nation, his autobiography will no doubt serve as an invaluable sourcebook in national history to younger generations.

I salute and congratulate Chief EK Clark for his gift of experience and courageous leadership over the years, he stated.

The occasion was chaired by former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, also attracts other personalities, including former President Goodluck Jonathan, Lt. Gen. Theophilus Danjuma, who is the chief launcher, wife of the late former Head of State, Maryam Abacha; and traditional rulers including Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi; Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero; and Attah Igala, tá Matthew Opaluwa, among others.

Among the governors present at the occasion are Edo, Delta, Bauchi, and Plateau.

Also, President Bola Tinubu, was represented by the Secretary of the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
