PDP Governors have advised President Bola Tinubu to step aside, asserting he’s unfit to tackle Nigeria’s issues.

In a recent statement, the Governors elected under the banner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) advised Tinubu to offer concrete solutions to Nigeria’s challenges or gracefully step down from office.

They emphasized that the responsibility to address the nation’s issues lies squarely with the APC-led government, which sought power on the promise of solutions, not exacerbation or blame-shifting.

Highlighting the non-partisan nature of the hardships faced by Nigerians, the Governors stressed the urgent need for sustainable solutions, especially from the federal government. They reiterated that failure to deliver on this front should prompt a humble resignation.

Additionally, the Governors criticized attempts by APC officials to dismiss their constructive interventions, emphasizing the need for genuine collaboration and a focus on solving Nigeria’s problems.

They also underscored the positive track record of PDP-governed states in implementing developmental policies and addressing key issues like salary payment and food security.

As stakeholders in governance, the PDP Governors pledged to continue working with Tinubu towards overcoming the challenges exacerbated by the APC’s tenure since 2015. While acknowledging the President’s efforts, they expressed hope that collective endeavors would lead Nigeria out of its current predicament.
