Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has vehemently denounced what he described as the distortion of facts surrounding his actions and statements during his tenure as governor.

In a recent statement, Obi addressed the ongoing demolitions for constructing the Lagos-Calabar coastal super highway, clarifying his stance and actions during his time in office.

During his tenure, Obi made it clear that structures obstructing existing roads without approval would be removed. He emphasized the necessity of prioritizing the restoration and maintenance of existing infrastructure, highlighting his strategic approach to infrastructure development.
