Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the esteemed 15th Emir of Kano, has made a profound statement that no individual stands above the law, urging his people to maintain tranquility.

Addressing his people from the mini-palace, his residence since his return following his dethronement, he expressed his faith in the triumph of justice.

The revered monarch pledged his acceptance of the law’s decisions, emphasizing the significance of Kano as a pivotal state in Nigeria.

Communicating in Hausa, he appealed to his people to uphold law and order while the legal proceedings regarding the dispute are underway.

He urged the authorities to ensure justice in this matter, highlighting the influence of Kano on the entire nation. He stated, “Any event that impacts Kano has repercussions for Nigeria. We hope for peace to prevail in Kano. We pray for Allah’s blessings on Kano, bestowing it with leaders who are just and responsible. Justice is the path to resolution on every issue. There will be justice. No one is exempt from the law. We will abide by what the law dictates. I am grateful for the concern shown by all. As I have mentioned, justice will run its course. We will continue to pray for peace in Kano State. May Allah the Almighty safeguard us.”
