Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor Esq (KSC), legal representative of the Indigenous People of Biafra, and its leader Nnamdi Kanu has issued a strong condemnation of recent incitement to violence against Igbo children.

In a statement released via his X handle, Ejiofor expressed deep outrage over a disturbing Tik Tok audio in which a man identifying himself as Kingsley, a Nigerian based in Austria, called for the poisoning of Igbo children wherever they are found. Ejiofor described such a vile and inhumane statement as a blatant incitement to violence and an affront to humanity.

The abhorrent call for violence, made on August 29, 2024, represents a severe and inhumane act that undermines the core principles of humanity.

Ejiofor condemned this incitement, emphasizing that no level of grievance can ever justify targeting innocent children.

While acknowledging that recent hate speech from Amaka Patience Sunnberger was a reaction to this call for violence, Ejiofor stressed that responding to hate with more hate only exacerbates tensions. He called upon all individuals to reject this rhetoric and instead advocate for peaceful dialogue and mutual understanding.

Ejiofor highlighted the importance of protecting children and ensuring their safety regardless of ethnic background. He urged for resolutions through peaceful methods such as dialogue and referendums, which foster constructive discourse and respect for diverse viewpoints. By promoting open communication, we can address grievances and work towards a more equitable and harmonious society.
