The Labour Party’s governorship candidate, Olumide Akpata, has successfully cast his vote in the ongoing gubernatorial election in Edo State.

Speaking to reporters at his polling unit in Oredo, Akpata expressed his confidence in securing victory, citing the impressive voter turnout as a sign of the people’s desire for change.

Akpata remarked, “I am impressed with the turnout. The people are hungry for change.

I am hoping that those who are superintending the process should allow the will of the people to prevail.” When asked about his confidence level regarding the election outcome, he confidently stated, “We’ve got this one.”
