Imam Mohammad Tawhidi, a prominent Islamic scholar and reformist, known for his outspoken views and opposition to extremism, took to his X (formerly Twitter) account, @ImamofPeace, to share his thoughts on recent developments in the Middle East.

Tawhidi, who has faced physical attacks and had to flee his home in Australia due to extremist threats, expressed relief at the news of Hezbollah leader Nasrallah’s death.

“The death of Nasrallah signifies a profound step towards de-escalation,” Tawhidi stated. “Every senior leader in Hezbollah is now in hell. The Middle East is celebrating, and the world emerges as a more just and peaceful place. This is the absolute truth that resonates with the very depths of your conscience.”

Tawhidi’s message reflects his long-standing stance against extremist ideologies and his advocacy for peace and justice in the region.
