Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo proudly announced via his X handle that Anambra State has achieved remarkable success at the 2024 Presidential Prizes for Basic and Secondary Schools in Nigeria.

This victory highlights the dedication and excellence of the state’s educators and institutions.

Outstanding Achievements:

Best Teacher: Mr. Nwosu Joseph Afamefuna from Government Technical College, Osamala, Ogbaru LGA, was recognized as the overall Best Teacher in Nigeria.

Top Secondary School: Holy Child Secondary School, Isuofia, Aguata LGA secured the title of 2nd Best Secondary School.

Top Primary Head Teacher: Chukwudumeme Franca Adaeze from Aforigwe Primary School, Umudioka, Dunukofia LGA was honored as the 2nd Best Primary Head Teacher.

Best Secondary School Principal: Dr. Umezinwa Grace Amara from Girls High School, Uga, Aguata LGA earned the title of 2nd Best Secondary School Principal.

Additionally, Anambra’s teachers showcased their skills by securing 2nd place in the March Past competition.

Governor Soludo commended the relentless efforts of teachers, students, and educational leaders, stating that their hard work is yielding significant results. He expressed hope that Anambra will continue to achieve further successes in education.
