In a continuation of his thank-you tour across the United States, former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi visited Houston, Texas, where he engaged in meaningful conversations with the Nigerian diaspora community.

Obi emphasized the importance of listening to Nigerians abroad, viewing the visit as a valuable opportunity for direct engagement. He encouraged attendees to remain hopeful and to contribute to the movement for a New Nigeria, drawing parallels with the diaspora efforts of other nations like China, Japan, and India in driving national growth.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude for the support he received in Houston, Obi reiterated that this solidarity fuels the pursuit of a just, equitable, and productive Nigeria.

“Together, we are laying the groundwork for a New Nigeria that is within our reach,” he stated. Obi highlighted the shared aspirations of Nigerians both at home and abroad, emphasizing the collective desire for a nation that works for all its citizens.

He concluded by affirming that the vision of a great nation is not only possible but also within reach, urging all Nigerians to unite in this common cause.
