Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s candidate in the 2023 presidential elections, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, following the passing of the state’s First Lady, Pastor Mrs. Patience Eno.

In a solemn visit to Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, Obi paid his last respects to the late First Lady and offered his sympathies to the grieving Governor, his family, and the people of the state.

“Words often fail us in moments of grief like this,” Obi remarked, encouraging the Governor and his loved ones to find comfort in the widespread love and support from those who share in their sorrow.

On behalf of his wife, Margaret, and the entire Obidient family, Obi conveyed deep sympathies, emphasizing solidarity in prayer. “We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will grant you the strength and fortitude to navigate these difficult times,” he added.

The statement underscores the unity and compassion Obi wishes to extend to the people of Akwa Ibom during this challenging period.
