Ibrahim Abdulkareem, the Director-General of Big TENT, has praised Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in Nigeria’s 2023 elections, as a unifying figure for the country’s North and South.

Abdulkareem credited Obi’s focus on engaging young people across regional divides as a significant factor in fostering national unity.

Speaking in an interview with Arise TV, Abdulkareem highlighted the contrasting approaches of political parties in Nigeria, noting that the ruling APC often treats politics as a “do-or-die affair.”

He pointed out that Obi’s approach resonates with the youth, who are increasingly looking for leadership that prioritizes unity and progress over divisive politics.
