My beautiful mum’s first photo taken at 71, second one will be at 84 this December. Timeless grace.

When I look at my mum’s lolo Agnes Ugwu, photo from when she was 71, I see more than just beauty I see strength, kindness, and everything she’s ever given me. That photo means so much, because it captures her as she was then: glowing, peaceful, full of grace.

Now, as we take her second photo on July 6, 2025, and she will turns 84 in December, I feel a rush of emotion. She’s still the same woman I’ve always admired. Time hasn’t taken away from her light, it’s only made it shine softer and deeper.

Her grace isn’t just in how she looks. It’s in how she carries love, how she laughs, how she always holds my hand sometimes ago. She’s timeless to me, not because she doesn’t change, but because every change feels like a gentle reminder of how lucky I am to call her my mum.
