NN News Media online publisher, Nkiruka Nistoran, has warned people in the region and Nigerians to stay away from an X (formerly Twitter) Space being run by a group claiming to represent former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
She said the group is using Atiku’s name to attack former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, even though they do not have Atiku’s approval.
Nistoran explained that she joined the X Space earlier today and noticed that the discussion was focused only on criticizing Peter Obi and members of the Obidient movement. After she was made a speaker and tried to respond to the allegations raised against Peter Obi, she was not allowed to speak. Instead, she was repeatedly muted and verbally attacked, which forced her to leave the Space.
When asked why she left, Nistoran said the people running the Space are not interested in unity and are no different from the same Obidients they accuse. She added that such individuals cannot help bring unity to the ADC.
She later shared a post on her X handle warning the public.
