Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau of the All Progressives Congress has openly accused former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of secretly working for President Bola Tinubu while pretending he is against him in the public.

In an interview with MARALI Radio TV, Shekarau said his party is supporting Tinubu openly and honestly, but Kwankwaso is doing the same thing covertly and misleading his supporters.

At least we are openly supporting Tinubu, unlike Kwankwaso who is doing his covertly and misleading people,” Shekarau declared

This fresh accusation comes after Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso joined the NDC to defeated Tinubu and APC ahead of 2027 election.

Many Nigerians have not trusted Kwankwaso following his meeting with Tinubu before he joined the ADC and later switched to the NDC.

Shekarau positioned his party as transparent in its backing for Tinubu while painting Kwankwaso as playing a dangerous hidden game with the public.

The statement which has sparked strong reactions was shared widely by Marali Radio TV and is adding more heat to the ongoing rivalry between the two powerful northern politicians.
