The National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje and the National Secretary Senator Bashiru Ajibola, were at the Supreme Court.

Others who were present at the apex court include the acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Umar Damagum, and the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba, among others.

The apex court on Monday, hear the appeals of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar; Labour Party’s Peter Obi; and Chichi Ojei of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), seeking the court to nullify President Bola Tinubu’s victory.

But the court dismissed APM petition was after the party withdrew its case in the suit.

According to Justice John Okoro, chairman of the seven-man panel said, “This appeal having been withdrawn without objection (from the respondents) is hereby dismissed”.

The seven-man panel of justices led by Justice Inyang Okoro, after hearing both appeals of PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and LP’s Peter Obi, reserves judgment against Tinubu, said date for judgment would be communicated to the parties.

Justice Okoro also said, there are two conflicting letters from the CSU – one authenticating the president’s certificate and another discrediting it. Which do we rely on?” he asked.
