With all due respect, it is utterly unacceptable that Wole Soyinka is uncouthly despising the Obidients and Nigerians whose votes were brutally rapped, rigged, disenfranchised, suppressed and discounted by the dishonest, worthless, incompetent, fraudulent and compromised INEC.
He has repeatedly seek and sought to further stampede the Obidients with his bunch of grandiloquence than proclaiming a democratic election process promised by President Muhammadu Buhari in the presence of international community and coalition of civil society organizations in Nigeria.
Soyinka describes the Obidients as “repulsive” and “off-putting concoction” but literally applauds the reckless violation of the electoral act by the rogue INEC which is relatively leading to the alleged “repulsive” and “off-putting concortion” of the Obidients.
Has Wole Soyinka sincerely questioned why votes were not uploaded to the INEC Portal/Server from various pulling units as stipulated in the INEC guidelines and electoral act and in real time?
Soyinka abandons the brutal ethno-xenophobic profiling by the APC murderous elements in Lagos State and across Nigeria but obsssesively focuses more on Obi/Datti outright victory at the poll.
He relishes beating a child with scorn and contempt as well preventing him/her not to cry.
He was quiet in 2014 when General Muhammadu Buhari threatened bloodshed should he not be declared winner of the 2015 presidential elections.
How well can one define a sychophant with unhidden ethnic bigotry and xenophobia? He was silent in 2014 when the APC as an opposition political party threatened to form a parallel government under the President Goodluck Jonathan-led government should the 2015 presidential elections not go their way.
He denigrated and carelessly insulted Jonathan and his wife with every fiber of his body, spirit and soul but remains cowardly to the Buhari anti-peoples’ administration.
He angrily protested in the street of Lagos State few years ago when Jonathan announced subsidy removal but today he is silent with the Buhari policy on the same touted subsidy removal.
Decades ago, he reportedly stormed a radio station to undemocratically stop the announcement of Pa Akintola’s election victory.
In 2020, he selectively did not outrightly debate the Lekki massacre of the Nigerian youths by the ruthless Nigerian army neither did he speak up when the Nigerian students were at home for over eight (8) months in 2022.
He is sadly set to debate with Datti but cannot debate the Zaria, Benue and Southern Kaduna massacre, ethnic cleansing and pogroms.
He is repulsive to debate with Datti in a national television but refuses to debate the serial disobedience of court orders by the Buhari-led government.
He is never ready to debate the countless compass of the unbridled corruption in the Buhari-led government but fast to despise the Obidients. His bigotry is equal to none and his resolve is unfortunately undemocratic.
He did not debate the incessant Buhari’s medical tourism in the UK but ready to carelessly debate Datti who wants to put a stop to it. No wonder he campaigned for General Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 with a garbage that Buhari is a repented democrat.
He did not debate the divisive 97 and 5 percent of the Buhari hate against the Igbo but angrily stands to debate with Datti who seems a nightmare to his biased convictions.
Has he debated Lai Mohammed’s numerous lies and inconsistencies? Has he debated Fani-Kayode’s infantile disorder and hate tantrums? How about to debate Festus Keyamo’s juvenile and adult delinquency?
Does he really want to debate with Datti as the election outcome is challenged in the court?
Wole Soyinka should be told that his lopsided melody is lost in the mud of hypocrisy and that his practice of claiming to have higher standards or more noble beliefs is futile.
