The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a strong public disclaimer distancing itself from a list of purported State Chairmen currently circulating on social media platforms.
The party firmly states that it is not aware of any such appointments and urges the public to disregard the information in its entirety.
In a statement released by Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the National Publicity Secretary of the ADC and Spokesperson for the opposition coalition, the party emphasized that any legitimate information regarding its operations, leadership, or membership registration can only be verified through its official communication channels.
The public is advised to confirm all ADC-related updates via the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of the National Publicity Secretary @BolajiADC: Any announcements or claims not shared through this platform should be treated as false and misleading.
The ADC also condemned in strong terms the emergence of fake online platforms created by individuals aiming to deceive unsuspecting Nigerians into making fraudulent payments under the pretense of party registration. The party warns citizens to be wary of such schemes and confirms that any official registration process will be transparently communicated through recognized platforms.
“We caution Nigerians to be vigilant and to verify all information related to ADC through legitimate sources,” said Mallam Abdullahi. “Do not fall victim to these scams. Official updates regarding the ADC and the broader opposition coalition will be made public through appropriate and trustworthy channels.”
