Convener, Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju has condemned the People’s Democratic party (PDP) decision to zone it presidency to another northern after President Buhari’s eight years.
Adeyanju insisted via his twitter handle that it was the turn of the south east to produce the president of Nigeria for equity and justice.
He lauded the former Governor of Anambra state and Labour Party presidential aspirant, Peter Obi, said he acted fast and did the right thing by leaving PDP.
According him; APC now likely to go North because of Atiku’s victory.
He maintained that; on Igbo presidency I stand. Equity is the only way out, to scavenge Nigeria for immediate collapse.
Adeyanju, however urged President Buhari to endorse someone in APC from the South-East to unite the country and rally the country behind that person. Doing so will unite Nigeria with such an action.
He accused Tinubu, Osinbajo and the Yoruba people for refusing to unite with Southern Nigeria, I hear many people in both APC and PDP have been celebrating since yesterday that power is back to the North after the Atiku victory. I hope you are all happy now? it will be unconscionable for Buhari to endorse a fellow Northerner. Equity!!!
I can never understand why people will just be selfish & not put the interest of others into consideration. Did we even need to be preaching equity to South West?
Akeredolu was shamelessly saying power must go to the South West. Imagine, MUST!
I kept warning from the beginning but they were insulting me non-stop; especially the Yoruba people supporting tribalism. Let it be on record that I warned and I support Igbo Presidency.
He who comes to equity must come with clean hands;
-One who seeks equity must do equity;
-Equity is a sort of equality;
-Equity delights to do justice and not by halves;
-Equity follows the law;
– Equity abhors a forfeiture.
South West should know better.
Blame Tinubu and Osibanjo power hungry people for power staying in the North. They started this idea of everyone from anywhere can run for president when we all know power should go to the South East. Also blame the Yoruba people supporting them when their son is just finishing 8yrs as VP, he stated.
