The president of the United States of American, Joe Biden has refused to call Nigeria’s president elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Although the US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken has spoken with the Nigeria’s Tinubu on telephone. Unlike before, American president has always call Nigerian president elect.

It could recall that the election which produced Tinubu was described as sham marred with intimidation, manipulation, and rigging, according to international observers.

According to INEC, Tinubu secured 8,794,726 votes, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar had 6,984,520, while the Labour Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, polled 6,101,533.

The PDP and LP candidates have rejected the result. Both parties have approached the tribunal with separate petitions to challenge Tinubu’s victory.

The US has also announced a visa ban on election riggers.

The Nigeria’s president elect has also charged for drug trafficking crimes in the US.

Meanwhile, Former US president Donald Trump has said,he will pass death penalty for drug dealers, if elected saying they are destroying US.
