Air Peace Ltd. has officially welcomed its second Embraer 190 aircraft, marking a significant step in its fleet expansion strategy aimed at enhancing domestic and regional air travel across Nigeria and West Africa.

The 96-seat jet, registered as 5N-CER, touched down at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 2:42 p.m. on Friday. The announcement was made by the airline’s spokesperson, Mr. Efe Osifo-Whiskey, who emphasized the company’s commitment to modernizing its fleet and improving passenger experience.

“We are thrilled to receive our second E190 and anticipate more additions next year,” Osifo-Whiskey stated. “This expansion is deliberate, aligning with our mission to simplify air travel and connect communities.”

He highlighted the aircraft’s suitability for short- and medium-haul routes, noting its efficiency and reliability. The new arrival supports Air Peace’s broader goals of launching new domestic routes, increasing international operations, and reinforcing its presence across the region.

The airline received its first Embraer 190 in June, showcasing its investment in right-sized, modern aircraft tailored to the needs of Nigeria’s evolving aviation landscape.
