Also, Peter Obi currently leading Report Afrique Online Poll for PDP Presidential Aspirants

Frontline presidential aspirant and former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, running under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is leading in an online poll ongoing on the official verified handle of Report Afrique.

The poll, which allows users choose their favourite PDP aspirant for the office of the president of Nigeria come 2023, has garnered more than 4000 votes in barely two hours after it was launched on the microbloging site, Twitter.

Report Afrique launched the poll after a poll conducted by the Africa Independent Television (AIT) was deleted following a landslide lead by Peter Obi over Atiku Abubakar, Nyesom Wike and Aminu Tambuwal.

The AIT poll had Obi leading with 82% ahead of other aspirants before it was deleted.

As at the time of this publication, Mr Obi was leading the Report Afrique polls by 90% ahead of Atiku Abubakar, Nyesom Wike and Bukola Saraki.

The poll is expected to end in 23 hours. It is uncertain if Mr. Obi will maintain the lead but going by previous polls, Mr. Obi enjoys a growing followership online that seems to be very organic.
