Top leaders of the African Democratic Congress in Abia State have intensified efforts to strengthen party unity and build a formidable political structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The high level meeting brought together key party figures including Senator Mao Ohuabunwa Akobundu, Don Norman Obinna Udensi and other influential stakeholders who discussed strategies aimed at repositioning the party as a strong alternative platform in Abia State and across Nigeria.
During the meeting, party leaders stressed the importance of internal cohesion, grassroots mobilisation and collective commitment to the growth of the ADC. They agreed that unity among members remains essential for the party to achieve its political goals and gain wider public support ahead of the next electoral cycle.
Stakeholders also highlighted the need for credible leadership, effective political engagement and stronger connections with communities across the state. According to participants, the ADC is determined to expand its reach by encouraging active participation at the grassroots level while promoting policies that reflect the needs and aspirations of ordinary Nigerians.
