In a bold move, Angola’s President, Joao Lourenco, has taken a step towards enhancing the living standards of his citizens by significantly raising the country’s minimum wage from $84 to $120 per month.
This wage increase is not the only initiative by Lourenco’s administration aimed at improving the economic conditions of its citizens. The government has also increased the monthly salaries of Senior Military Personnel and Medical Staff Members to $2,150.
