The Deputy Director of Peter Obi/Datti Baba-Ahmed Campaign Organisation, Mr. Oseloka H. Obaze, has raised alarm that the troll team of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which he described as ‘despicable’ and ‘desperate’, has photoshopped a picture of the Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, with that of former Radio Biafra anchorman, Barrister Simon Ekpa, who has been described as a terrorist by some stakeholders.
Taking to his Twitter handle, @OselokaHObaze, on Thursday, Mr. Obaze displayed a picture of Peter Obi taken on a Virgin Airline flight on 21 July wherein a fellow traveller, Mr. Suraj “Jarus” Oyewale, presented him with a book he wrote entitled “A Mat of Roses”.
Rattled by Peter Obi’s acceptability even among the Yoruba elites, the APC troll team, which Mr. Obaze further described as “Agbado eRats”, photoshopped Simon Ekpa into it and even added Aisha Yesufu behind Peter Obi to make it look credible.
Reacting to the photoshopped picture, Obaze tweeted:
“This is the worst form of despicable desperation. APC troll team (Agbado eRats), took a photo of @PeterObi taken on a Virgin flight on Frid. 21 July & photoshopped Simon Ekpa into it. For credence, they added @AishaYesufu .At this rate, this Batist team will outdo Lai Lair’s gang.”
