In a robust response to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the All Progressives Congress (APC) categorically refutes allegations of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration failing to pay December salaries for Federal Civil Servants.

According to the APC National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Felix Morka, the PDP’s assertions are baseless, as the salaries have been promptly disbursed.

Morka emphasized the Tinubu administration’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of workers, debunking what he termed as the PDP’s attempt to create unnecessary panic and disseminate misinformation.

The APC spokesperson stated, “The December salaries of federal workers have been paid, and the PDP’s claims are nothing but a cry of wolf and peddling of misinformation.” He further asserted that the PDP’s statement lacks reason or coherence, showcasing the party’s folly, incompetence, envy, and confusion.

Highlighting the Tinubu administration’s commitment to workers’ well-being, Morka outlined various initiatives and policies aimed at enhancing the lives of Nigerian workers. He pointed out the administration’s proactive engagement with organized labor, emphasizing its dedication to fostering dialogue and resolving disputes.

Morka also refuted the PDP’s accusations, stating that President Tinubu’s administration has exhibited greater sensitivity and commitment to workers’ welfare in a few months than the PDP’s 16 years of rule. He highlighted key accomplishments, including the delisting of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) from the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS), N-Power participant payments, minimum wage increase, and various palliatives for states, farmers, and vulnerable Nigerians.

In conclusion, Morka labeled the PDP’s accusations as “barefaced dishonesty and partisan pettiness,” pointing out the party’s history and questioning its credibility. He reiterated that President Tinubu’s reforms aim to reposition and restore Nigeria to greatness and sustainable prosperity.
