The Apostolic Church, Nigeria (TACN), calls upon political leaders, including President Bola Tinubu, to govern the nation with a sense of divine responsibility.

Dr. Gabriel Uyeh, Vice-President of TACN, emphasizes the crucial role of righteousness and justice in leadership during the 25th Anniversary celebration in Ibadan.

Addressing the congregation, Dr. Uyeh urges leaders to consistently seek and uphold the truth, emphasizing that righteousness uplifts a nation while sin brings disgrace. He warns against hypocrisy, oppression, and injustice, emphasizing that such issues lead to the suffering of the people.

Under the theme “Dwelling in the Secret Place of God Almighty,” Dr. Uyeh highlights the benefits of seeking refuge in divine presence, including security, immunity from calamities, and freedom from fear. He appeals to the government to avoid policies and laws that could foster religious disharmony and crises.

Dr. Lawrence Oladele, Territorial Administrative Secretary of TACN LAWNA, emphasizes the importance of the celebration, marking 25 years of the church’s impactful existence in Ibadan. He underlines the significance of the chosen theme in addressing the current challenges, especially insecurity, facing the nation.

Expressing the church’s commitment to national progress, Oladele notes the contributions through fervent prayers for leadership and various social responsibility initiatives. He calls on political officials to prioritize combating insecurity over political maneuvers, emphasizing unity among citizens for lasting peace.

The commemoration concludes with expressions of gratitude from regions within the Ibadan metropolitan area and prayers for the church and the nation. The Apostolic Church continues to advocate for leadership guided by the fear of God, echoing a call for righteousness, justice, and unity in the face of contemporary challenges.
