Former Vice President and leading presidential hopeful of the African Democratic Congress ADC, Atiku Abubakar, has officially submitted his presidential nomination form ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The submission took place at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja as Atiku declared that the mission to rebuild Nigeria and restore prosperity has begun.

In a message shared after submitting the form, Atiku said the movement is bigger than politics and is focused on giving Nigerians hope, renewal, and a better future.

He called on Nigerians from every region, religion, and background to join the struggle to rescue the country from hardship and return the nation to progress and prosperity.

Recall that Atiku had earlier received his payment receipt after purchasing the ADC presidential nomination form for N90 million on May 8, 2026.

The ADC confirmed the development in a statement posted on its official X handle, describing it as another major step in the growing movement for democratic inclusion, national unity, and people centered leadership.

The party said Nigerians are looking for credible alternatives and assured that the ADC remains committed to economic recovery, security, and national progress ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
