Kachallah Bello Turji, a notorious bandit leader, has reiterated his accusations against Alhaji Bello Matawalle, the former Governor of Zamfara State and current Minister of Defence, claiming Matawalle’s involvement in supporting terrorism in Nigeria’s North-West.

In a recent video, Turji asserted that he possesses evidence to substantiate his claims, despite Matawalle’s camp dismissing the allegations as unfounded.

Turji’s video message, aimed at the Nigerian populace, emphasized the complicity of the previous Zamfara government in exacerbating the region’s insecurity. He called for investigations into the past actions of Matawalle and his administration, insisting that the government’s failure to address these issues is contributing to ongoing violence and instability.

Matawalle’s media consultant, Deyemi Saka, responded to Turji’s claims, labeling them as baseless and an attempt to deflect attention from Turji’s own criminal activities. However, Turji remains steadfast, challenging the government to provide clarity on the allegations he has raised and asserting his commitment to revealing the truth behind the region’s turmoil.
