Simon Ekpa, the self-proclaimed leader of the Biafra Government in Exile, has emerged as a notorious figure exploiting the hopes of Biafrans for his personal gain.

Operating primarily online, he has created an elaborate web of deception that has led many to believe in the existence of a Biafran financial system, including claims about a “Biafrcoin” that can be used for purchasing goods and services. However, there is no legitimate USBT Bank of Biafra anywhere in the world; it exists solely in Ekpa’s fabricated narrative.

Ekpa has gone as far as to tell his followers that they can buy USBT and trade USDT (BEP-20) on a supposed decentralized platform. These assertions are nothing but a ruse designed to defraud his supporters, siphoning their money while leaving them with empty promises. The reality is that these platforms do not exist outside the digital realm, and his claims lack any credible backing.

In addition to promoting fraudulent financial schemes, Ekpa has positioned himself as a militant leader, inciting violence and destruction in the southeastern part of Nigeria. His rhetoric often encourages armed resistance, further endangering the lives and properties of innocent civilians.

While he masquerades as a champion of the Biafran cause, his actions reveal a pattern of exploitation and deceit using manipulative tactics of a self-serving scammer. It is crucial for individuals to recognize the signs of Ekpa’s scams and to seek authentic pathways for advocating Biafran rights and interests, rather than falling prey to the empty promises of an online fraudster.
