President Patrice Talon of Benin Republic visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to discuss enhancing economic cooperation between the two nations.

President Tinubu stressed the need for synergy, describing Nigeria and Benin Republic as conjoined twins, and emphasized the urgency of developing common economic principles.

Talon sought support for improving trade relations and highlighted the importance of free movement of people and goods between the countries.

Both leaders expressed a commitment to overcoming bilateral challenges, with Talon proposing the establishment of an inter-ministerial technical committee to advance mutually beneficial cooperation.
