Nigerian former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, Wednesday hosted the two times Lagos State governor and presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
He was received by State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and two former governors of the State, Àrèmo ‘Segun Osoba and Gbenga Daniel, alongside other State government functionaries.
The meeting was Tinubu to get Obasanjo’s endorsement ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
But according to inside source present in the meeting, told NN News that the former president wants power to return to the youth.
The personality said, despite plan to convince Obasanjo, he told Tinubu, that it is the turn of the Nigerian youth to take overpower.
Recall that Obasanjo has been lobbing in for Peter Obi presidential bid.
However, Tinubu visit was accompanied by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, pioneer APC interim national chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, and the pioneer chairman of EFCC, Nuhu Ribadu.
