General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff, has dismissed allegations that the recent bombing in Kaduna aimed to eradicate a specific ethnic group.

NN News Media recall that the Nigerian Army’s bomb attack on Tundun Biri village in Kaduna State resulted in at least 120 deaths and approximately 60 injuries.

The incident occurred on Sunday night in the Igabi Local Government Area, prompting concerns and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.

But in an interview on Arise TV, General Musa expressed regret over the incident, emphasizing it was not based on ethnicity or religion but rather a mistake influenced by villagers’ movements resembling terrorists.

He highlighted the challenges of civilian proximity hampering anti-terror efforts and pledged a thorough review to prevent future errors.
