The campaign efforts of the All-Progressives Congress suffered a setback on Monday in Bauchi as Presidential Muhammadu Buhari and the Presidential candidate of the party Ahmed Bola Tinubu all left the Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium venue if campaign without uttering campaign speeches.

This is even as the National Chairman of APC Abdullahi Adamu could not finish his speech as technical issues with microphone cut short efforts to send clear campaign message across to supporters.

The mood was a bit tensed from the onset as President Buhari who sat all through watching proceedings suddenly stood up and moved to the podium where the Presidential candidate and other candidates were standing and lifted the hands of Tinubu.

Without muting a word, he left the stadium shortly, bringing a sudden end to what was otherwise a promising campaign. (Daily Sun)
