Dangote Petroleum Refinery has initiated the production of diesel and aviation fuel, marking a significant milestone for Nigeria’s industrial landscape.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President of Dangote Group, expresses gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, applauding his visionary leadership that played a pivotal role in realizing this historic project.

The refinery, in collaboration with key regulatory bodies such as NNPC Limited, NUPRC, and NMDPRA, expresses appreciation for their unwavering support.

President Dangote emphasizes the crucial role of various stakeholders, including Nigerians, in believing and supporting the project.

He announces that the products will be available in the market later this month pending regulatory approvals.

The refinery, designed in compliance with global standards, has already received six million barrels of crude oil, showcasing its operational capabilities.

Furthermore, Dangote extends gratitude to bankers, financiers, and the proactive government of Lagos State, led by Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for their support in overcoming challenges.

He acknowledges the patience and cooperation of host communities and their traditional leaders, recognizing the collective efforts that contributed to the success of this monumental project.
