In a recent revelation, Father Ejike Mbaka, the spiritual director of Adoration Ministry Enugu, has shed light on the reason behind his persistent involvement in political discussions and elections in Nigeria.

The outspoken cleric attributes this unwavering commitment to a divine gift bestowed upon him by God, a calling that predates even his ordination as a Catholic Priest.

Father Mbaka asserts that he considers it his duty to speak the truth, regardless of its impact on personal relationships, owing it to both the world and his conscience.

Addressing the issue during his New Year’s crossover message for 2024 at the ministry’s ground in Enugu, Father Mbaka clarified that while he does not meddle in politics, he cannot ignore the divine messages he receives. He emphasized that these messages are not a product of his priestly ordination but have been a part of his life since before becoming a Catholic priest.

“I don’t know how it happens to me. I am not boastful of it. It comes to me once in a while. I did not get it through priestly ordination. It has been following me even before I became a Catholic priest,” Mbaka explained.

He further stated that if given a divine message for a political figure, such as delivering a message to someone like President Bola Tinubu, he would faithfully convey it, emphasizing that no earthly force could prevent him from delivering the message as received from God.

Mbaka went on to clarify his stance, stating, “If I am instructed to say that somebody will not win an election, even if the person is my blood brother, I will tell him about it privately. But if he doesn’t listen, I will say it publicly so that when it comes to fulfilment, I will not be counted among those who supported a failure because I can never support a failure.”

In conclusion, he emphasized that his prophetic actions are not a result of his ordained status as a Catholic priest, and even his classmates from seminary school can attest to his consistent approach throughout his life.
