EFCC Chairman, Olanipekun Olukoyede, has vowed to see the corruption case of former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, to the end, stating that he would rather resign than not seeing it through.
In a recent interview, Olukoyede revealed that he personally called the former governor to show respect and request his presence at the commission to answer to the charges. However, Bello refused to come and instead asked that the EFCC comes to his village to effect his arrest.
Olukoyede assured that anyone obstructing the arrest of Yahaya Bello will be brought to justice. He emphasized that the EFCC is committed to fighting corruption and will not be intimidated by anyone, regardless of their position or influence.
