A top former insider in the All-Progressives Congress had warned about President Bola Tinubu.

Hajiya Najaatu Mohammed who once served as Director of Civil Society Organisations in the Tinubu presidential campaign council says she never resigned from the Police Service Commission. She made this clear during a strong interview on Arise News.

She pointed fingers at journalist Mahmud Jega and asked him straight to explain who bought him a new house in Abuja and why he suddenly joined the Tinubu team. She left that question hanging for him to answer.

Najaatu described Nigeria as a country drowning in corruption. She said if Tinubu did not have huge money to bribe people from the courts and other places, he would never have been able to contest any election. She claimed everything about him rests on lies including his name, his school records, his health and more. She added that nobody wants to prove these things because everyone has been paid to keep quiet.

She told viewers that Nigerians see the truth every day with their own eyes. She pointed to a recent clip where Tinubu called Atiku the Governor of Anambra State as clear proof that something is wrong. She said we do not need any doctor to tell us when someone cannot think straight or when dementia has set in. She explained that old age and health problems are natural, but Nigerians should not be forced to accept a leader who cannot tell truth from lies.

Najaatu insisted she never wanted the appointment in the first place. She said Tinubu begged her personally and even swore in the name of Allah. She reminded everyone that she is a businesswoman who does not make money from politics. She said if she wanted blood money she could have taken it long ago, but she refused.

She questioned why Tinubu avoids debates and even real speaking at rallies. Instead, she said his team just plays music and tells people to dance which she called an insult to Nigerians. She said even if they have to lie at least tell us what they plan to do for the country. She asked why he ran away from every real platform, including the time he went to Chatham House and let other people answer questions for him. She wondered if Nigerians are voting for those other people or for Tinubu himself.

Najaatu stood firm on her position and said she will not change her mind. She repeated that she did not resign from the Police Service Commission, and she still believes Tinubu is not fit to run the country.

The clip comes from an old interview but keeps making rounds as people discuss leadership health and honesty in Nigerian politics. Najaatu who has a long history as a civil rights activist and businesswoman has always spoken her mind even when it costs her positions in government circles. Her words have sparked fresh debates online with many agreeing that the country needs leaders who can think clearly and speak for themselves.
