There was pandemonium as suspected dynamite exploded during the campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers State, today, Thursday, January 19, 2022.

“At least three persons, mostly women who were at the venue of the rally sustained various degrees of injuries from the explosion suspected to be dynamite,” according to a report by Daily Independent.

It said that “though the cause of the explosion could not be known immediately, some eyewitnesses alleged that it was a stick of dynamite planted at the Igbokwu playground popularly known as Ojukwu field in mile one area of the state capital.”
